Dana began practicing yoga as a new way to exercise outside of her traditional workouts at the gym. She took her first yoga class at The Hot Yoga Spot in Stuyvesant Plaza and instantly fell in love with the practice. Not just loving the physical challenge, but the mental challenge as well. After practicing daily for years, Dana completed her foundational yoga training at The Hot Yoga Spot, earning her 200 hour teaching certification through Styles Yoga. On a quest to expand on her love of yoga and fitness, Dana also attended a Booty Barre training and is BarreFlow certified. Yoga has changed Dana's life and she loves the opportunity to guide others to bring positive energy to their lives as well. She strives to make sure that her classes are a tough workout but also a safe space for people to try something new and grow through personal practice.
